What makes a good picture? One of our favorite things are old jetty's and wharf's. On an early morning as the mist is beginning to lift off an abandoned jetty, the mirror lake creates an elegant still reflection on the surface of the water. There are very few man made objects that when captured correctly, can draw your eye into the landscape. As all wharf's are different, some better than others, all are very unique. 

They all show the passage of time, as the signs of constant assault from natures elements, where lake piles slowly thin and bulge, the salt spray rusts bolts and shackles, and the wood warps from the sun, crustaceans have made the piles their own.
